The 2019 San Gabriel Valley Poetry Festival celebration National Poetry Month features three poetry contests:
1: BROADSIDE competition (enter one poem).
2: CHAPBOOK competition (enter a collection of ten poems).
3: BOOK competition (enter a collection of 25 poems).
Winners get their work published (25 copies) and are featured for a reading at the end of the month.
Deadline to enter contests is April 9th. Email donkingfishercampbell@gmail.com with entry in a Word attachment.

- April 6th, 3:00 to 5:00 pm - THE BIG OPEN (every open reader gets a book prize!)
- April 13th, 3 to 5 pm - THE BIG SHARE (Bring poetry to read by a poet other than yourself).
- April 20th, 3 to 5 pm - THE BIG SLAM (Top three performers get cash prizes! FREE to enter). April 27th, 3 to 5 pm - THE BIG WINNERS (Winners of the 2019 SGVPF contests will be featured).
